Closing Ceremony of Girls in ICT Day Thailand 2021

International Girls in ICT Day is celebrated worldwide every year on the fourth Thursday of April (22 April 2021). Girls in ICT Day provides an opportunity for girls and young women to see and be exposed to the benefit of Information and Communication Technology in enabling their career and aspiration. To date, over 377,000 girls and young women have taken part in more than 11,400 celebrations of International Girls in ICT Day in 171 countries worldwide.

Thailand vividly celebrates the 10th Anniversary of the global virtual celebration of the Girls in ICT DAY throughout April and May 2021 in conjunction with a series of the Digital Skills Training Programs.

The celebration of Girls in ICT Thailand 2021 is organized by National Broadcasting and Telecommunication Commission (NBTC), Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (MDES) and ITU Asia and the Pacific Regional Office in partnership with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office in Thailand (UNRCO in Thailand), the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT), CISCO, Chulalongkorn University and Thammasat University.
